» Eligibility

• The NCATT AET certification examination and certification are not restricted to aircraft electronics / avionics technicians.
• The NCATT AET certification examination and certification are open to all technicians regardless of career field, training, education or experience.
• Technicians may take the NCATT AET certification examination, through LaserGrade Testing Centers.
• A fee will be charged for each NCATT AET certification examination.
• There are no limitations on the number of times a technician may take the NCATT AET Certification examination.
• The minimum passing grade for the NCATT AET Certification examination is 70%.
• Passing grades on the NCATT AET certification examination are required for NCATT AET Certification.
• Passing grades will automatically trigger lifetime NCATT membership and NCATT AET certification for the technician.
• Scores lower than 70% will require the technician to re-test.
• There are no grandfathered NCATT AET Certifications. Each NCATT certification is earned through testing.
