Dependent Naviagion Systems
AET Endorsement
The NCATT Standards for Dependent Navigation Systems addresses seven industry identified basic knowledge areas, activities and functions. These standards are derived from an NCATT Aerospace Industry Occupational Analysis Workshop.
NCATT Standards for Dependent Navigation Systems:
1. Safety
2. Antennas
3. GPS
4. VOR
5. DME
6. ADF
7. ILS
- AET is required in order to take the Dependent Navigation Systems (DNS) Endorsement Exam
- Pre-Registration is required through NCATT prior to taking the DNS Endorsement Exam
- Exam is: 1 Hour, 50 questions
- 30 day waiting period between exam retakes
- Passing score is 70%
