AET Endorsement


The NCATT Standards for Radio Communication Systems addresses five industry identified basic knowledge areas, activities and functions. These standards are derived from an NCATT Aerospace Industry Occupational Analysis Workshop.

NCATT Standard for Radio Communication Systems:
1. Safety
2. Radio Transmitter/Receivers
3. Communication Systems
4. Satellite Communication Systems (SATCOM)
  • AET is required in order to take the Radio Communication Systems (RCS) Endorsement Exam
  • Pre-Registration is required through NCATT prior to taking the RCS Endorsement Exam
  • Exam is: 1 Hour, 50 questions
  • 30 day waiting period between exam retakes
  • Passing score is 70%
