Upcoming Certifications

NCATT is a partner to the industry. This partnership allows industry to identify areas they would like to see standards and certifications. These standards are not meant to replace and/or replicate the FAA Airframe or Powerplant ratings, but can be used by specialized technicians to complement their A&P or identify them as a specialist in a given area.

Areas that have been identified but not funded include:

     • Aircraft Interiors
     • Engine Vibration Testing
     • HazMat
     • Propellers
     • Propulsion
     • Wood & Fabric
